Waste won’t go anytime soon, so let’s make them small and more recyclable

nst.agency is appointed distributor of waste compacting machines, guaranteeing waste volume reductions of between 67% and 98%.

This cooperation with the technological leader in zero-emission landfill waste processing machines, which started in April 2021, is a real innovation. nst.agency launches into the EU, and especially into the Polish market, a complete system for compacting, melting and gasifying waste including plastics with zero emissions as part of a zero-emissions and closed-loop economy process.

A unique thermal compactor machine that has been patented in many countries around the world, including the UK, EU and USA.

The Thermal Compactor converts practically any compressible waste into a dense extruded bale. It does this using an advanced heating and cooling systems. It leverages the plastics and waxes present in a typical waste stream to encapsulate the rest of the material devoid of these qualities in an outer skin, as well as eliminating liquids and moisture to greatly reduce its weight but most importantly reduce (compact) its volume by up to 85%.

As a result, it reduces the total cost of transporting materials, even those that cannot be recycled, to a minimum, simplifying also the very process of their storage.

The Thermal Compactor’s waste treatment process is designed to radically reduce the volume of plastic and general waste, creating a compact and treated ‘log’ that can be safely stored, recycled or used in waste-to-energy facilities. It is particularly useful where space is limited or disposal fees directly depend on the volume of waste coming in, and dewatering and mass volume reduction is required due to the expectations of waste processing plants. The unique design concept uses both heat and pressure to transform the waste material into a dense, extruded log that can be easily stored or transported with minimal space.

This is only the very first of 5 waste compaction and volume reduction that the FCS will deliver to nst.agency by the end of 2021.

Melting machine for: non-woven (SMS) polypropylene, EPS (Polystyrene)

The principle of the compactor is simple. The waste is fed into a hopper and a powerful compacting screw crushes the material into a melting chamber where the plastic content of the material is liquefied at a high enough temperature to form a hard outer hygienic shell, but well below the carbonisation temperature of the material. The Thermal Compactor is very versatile and can operate in hot or cold mode. The compactor can be used in cold mode for compacting cardboard, dewatering general waste or simply as an efficient crusher for cans or plastic bottles. The machine can be supplied with a range of optional equipment including shredders, bin lifters and collection equipment.

This is going to Revolutionise the Europes understanding of how to manage waste in a new way

The thermal compactor is also economical because, unlike classic extruder systems, the machine uses a large reduction gearbox and small drive to achieve compression, which is supported by heating and cooling zones at minimal energy cost.
